TENTANG KAMI/ABOUT US
GPC atau Giving People Chances (Memberikan Kesempatan untuk Orang Banyak) adalah organisasi non-profit yang independen dan berusaha untuk menciptakan perubahan di lingkungan sekitar kami. Organisasi ini berdiri sebagai salah satu wujud ekstrakurikuler di bidang kemanusiaan yang berdiri di sekolah-sekolah SMP-SMA.
Organisasi ini baru saja didirikan pada tanggal 4 September 2014, namun sebelumnya organisasi ini bernama 'Lombok Youth Education Foundation' yang sudah terlebih dahulu berdiri sejak tanggal 30 September 2013. Kedua organisasi ini didirikan oleh orang yang sama yaitu M. Aziz Putra Akbar yang sekaligus menjabat sebagai Presiden GPC Global.
Sekolah Nusa Alam di Lombok, NTB adalah sekolah pertama yang menjadi bagian dari GPC sudah mulai beraktifitas. Pada tanggal 16 Oktober 2014, telah diputuskan melalui rapat bersama seluruh anggota chapter dan memutuskan Dayang Alma Shania sebagai Presiden GPC Chapter Sekolah Nusa Alam Lombok.
Mengutip dari kata Presiden GPC Global:
"Kami memang masih muda, tapi usia kami tidak menghentikan langkah kami untuk menyumbangkan sedikit tenaga kami untuk orang membahagiakan orang lain"
GPC stands for Giving People Chances is an indipendent non profit organisation that aims to make a change in their surrounding environment. This organisation stands as one of the extracurriculars that focuses on humanitarian causes in Junior and senior high schools.
This organisation was set up on the 4th of September 2014 and was formerly known as Lombok Youth Education Foundation that was started on the 30th September 2013. These two organisations were set up by the same person, Aziz Putra Akbar , who is also the president of GPC Global.
Sekolah Nusa Alam i Lombok, NTB will be the first school where GPC will proceed to start it's activities. On October 16th 2014, it has been decided by every member of the chapter to promote Dayang Alma Shania as the president of GPC chapter Nusa Alam school Lombok.
Quoting from President GPC Global, "We are young, but our age will not stop us from taking a step in sacfrifing our time to make other people happy"
